That seems to be the sentiment of a federal climate change report released this week that predicts dire consequences from a warming planet. According to a Boston Globe article, the Northeast will not only suffer from extreme heat and flooding in coming decades, but also experience shorter, warmer winters that could make Northeast winter sports just a memory.
