The Maine Whitewater Championship will be held over two dates – June 21 on the Kennebec River and July 19 on the West Branch of the Penobscot, with whitewater ranging from Class III to Class V.
Following both events will be a party and awards ceremony. And paddlers are encouraged to hang out the day after the Kennebec race, June 22, to check out Huckfest, a gathering of paddlers at Grand Falls. You can check out some insane footage from last year’s Huckfest below.
