A hut-to-hut style trail and lodging system may soon be created in the Adirondacks, according to an article on AdirondackAlmanack.com.
The Adirondack Community-based Trails and Lodging System (ACTLS) would create a network of trails that would link new and existing lodging facilities in Adirondack Park. The system would be similar to the huts the Appalachian Mountain Club runs for hikers in New Hampshire’s White Mountains.
