snowboardingThree New England ski resorts will offer free lift tickets and skiing and snowboarding lessons on January 19 and March 15, according to an article on FirstTracksOnline.com.

Bromley Mountain in southern Vermont, Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, N.H., and Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in the Berkshires of Massachusetts are each offering free lift tickets and introductory Terrain- Based Learning (TBL) instruction.

The mountains, all managed by the Fairbank Group based at Jiminy Peak, are encouraging beginners to learn to ski and snowboard on beginner-level features carved into the snow. Skiers and riders will progress through the learning playground’s mellow rollers, camel humps, mini-halfpipes, banks, berms, and spines, all adding fun and excitement to a relatively flat beginner area.
