The best of winter mountain sports will go off in the heart of New York City on Saturday, January 24.
Gore Mountain Ski Resort is making snow this week in Central Park ahead of Winter Jam, a free annual winter sports festival that encourages New Yorkers to enjoy the outdoors in the winter months.
There will be a rail jam for skiers and snowboarders. Those new to winter sports can take skiing and snowboarding lessons. Other activities will include cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
