weatherIf you’re a snowshoer or skier/snowboarder who was disappointed with the snowfall from today’s storm, just wait.

According to several reports, a major storm could bring 1 to 2 feet of snow to eastern New England on Tuesday.

CBSLocal.com reports the atmospheric setup may be taking shape for a “historic, epic blockbuster.”

“As currently depicted by many weather models, 1-to-2 feet of snow is well within reason,” reports CBSLocal.com. “If this one reaches its full potential it may be a top 10 or even top 5 snowstorm of all-time in Boston.”

Meteorologist David Epstein of Boston.com is more cautious in his description of the storm, saying that it is still early. But, he says, Tuesday’s storm has the potential to be “very large.”
