SRT AleSly Fox Brewing in Pottstown, Pennsylvania,  is releasing a spring beer that will benefit the Schuylkill River Trail, according to an article on Philly.com.

The beer – called SRT Ale – is described as a “golden, delicious, hop-forward American Pale Ale” for “craft beer fans who also love the outdoors of southeastern PA.” At 4.7 percent ABV, Sly Fox says it’s the perfect post-activity beer.

A portion of sales from the beer will go toward maintaining and improving the 130-mile Schuylkill River Trail. And the brewery will begin marketing the beer in April with what its calling the “SRT Spree.” Beginning April 17, a team representing the brewery will travel the trail by road bike, kayak, horseback, recumbent trikes and foot to promote the beer. Each day the team will stop along the trail for a cleanup and tapping event.
