Everyone climbs up mountains on their feet. But, at least in the winter, some people come down them on their butts.

Welcome to butt sledding, where hikers use small sleds, just big enough to cover their backsides, to cruise down mountain trails. Facebook user Andrew Hemmerling recently showed us how it’s done, using a Merikan Missile sled to cruise down New Hampshire’s Mount Liberty on the Liberty Spring Trail.
