It might be the middle of April, but many New England ski resorts are still going strong throughout this week. And more plan to re-open this weekend.
According to an article on Boston.com, a total of 14 New England ski resorts are open this week, including Jay Peak, Killington, Sunday River and Loon Mountain. And another three ski resorts – Bretton Woods, Magic and Saddleback – all plan to re-open this weekend.
While some ski resorts were still open this time last year, their trail counts were around 50 percent. This year, several are running near 100 percent.
