Maine’s Acadia National Park is now the nation’s first national park to sell entrance passes online.
As part of a pilot program, visitors can visit the website www.yourpassnow.com to buy annual and seven-day passes in advance at no additional cost.
Over the next several months, four other national parks are expected to begin selling entrance passes online.
