Your options for where to purchase outdoor gear are about to get a bit more limited.
Vestis Retail Group, the company that owns outdoor retailer Eastern Mountain Sports, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, according to an article on WCVB.com.
The company reportedly plans to close several Eastern Mountain Sports locations in the Northeast. Among the locations to be closed are Foxborough, Massachusetts; Warwick, Rhode Island; West Hartford, Connecticut; Moorestown, New Jersey; North Brunswick, New Jersey and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
