New York parks officials have begun installing newly designed docks to make it easier for people with disabilities to launch kayaks and canoes, according to an article on NorthCountryPublicRadio.org.

Officials say one launch was recently installed at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville and others will follow at Buffalo Harbor State Park this fall and at Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva and Wellesley Island State Park near Alexandria Bay next year.
