Each summer, swarms of visitors flock to Cape Cod, which makes it very difficult to find any place on the Cape that isn’t crowded with other people. But, if you know where to look, such places do exist.

A recent article on CapeCodToday.com profiled three such places: hiking areas that offer visitors both natural beauty and a measure of solitude.

The hiking spots discussed in the article are Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary in Westport, Long Point Lighthouse Trail in Provincetown and the Caroline Tuthill Preserve Trail on nearby Martha’s Vineyard.
