BURLINGTON FREE PRESS: A hiker who lost his way on Mt. Mansfield Tuesday afternoon emerged from the woods early Wednesday “cold but in good health,” according to Vermont State Police.
Steve Teshima, 20, of New Jersey began his hike Tuesday morning off Vermont 108 in Cambridge and told friends at about 12:40 p.m. that he intended to head toward the gondolas at Stowe Mountain Resort, according to police.
Somewhere along the way he got lost, and by 8:30 p.m. no one could reach him by phone, police stated. (READ MORE)
