The owners of New Hampshire’s Whaleback Mountain have announced they will close their business at the end of this season.
Saying they have been unable to get their ski area out of debt, the mountain’s owners posted on their website today that they have no other option but to close.
They left open the possibility that perhaps the ski area could be revived under a non-profit organization, but right now the mountain’s future is uncertain. (READ MORE)
