If you’re planning to check out the spring runoff at New Hampshire’s Champney Falls, be prepared to do some creative hiking.

A few weeks ago, the Champney Bridge was washed out due to heavy rain and ice jams. According to the U.S. Forest Service, the bridge was destroyed and is impassable. Hikers who want to use the trail to reach Champney Falls or Mount Chocorua will have to cross the brook to access the Champney Falls Trail.
