A hiker died after collapsing while descending the Red Spot Trail on New Hampshire’s Mount Monadnock on Sunday, according to an article in the Portland Press Herald.
Officials said the man, Bryce Griswold, 48, of Mendon, Massachusetts, collapsed due to an apparent medical condition at around 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Griswold’s hiking companion was an emergency medical technician and started CPR on him, but was unsuccessful. (READ MORE)
