You’ve probably heard of the Adirondack 46ers and New Hampshire’s 4,000-Footer Club. But have you ever heard about the Northeast 111 Club?
Apparently, there are 111 peaks over 4,000 feet in the Northeast (technically, there are now 115 on the list). Last fall, Jim Higgins Jr. became the 685th person to complete all of them when he summited Maine’s Old Speck Mountain. He was joined by filmmakers from Bear in Motion films, who created the following documentary, “The Northeast 111.” Enjoy.
