You think you’re cold? Trying being one of the 30 racers who showed up to Pittsfield, Vermont, to take on the 2015 Winter Death Race.
The race, which kicked off the evening of January 15 and was put on by Peak Races, saw racers try to survive 4 days that included standing in freezing cold water, mountaintop temperatures that dipped to minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit, carrying heavy logs through deep snow, and more than a few burpees. Five determined racers lasted to the end.
