snowRangers at Maine’s Acadia National Park are warning visitors that the deep snow in the park can be dangerous, according to an article on MDIslander.com.

The park currently has more than 4 feet of snow on the ground, and rangers warn that visitors who go off the packed trail can easily become hurt or stuck. They are asking visitors to leave a note on their car at the trailheads so rangers can know if someone is overdue and where to look for them.
