Blandford Ski Area in Blandford, Massachusetts, is offering folks the chance to “adopt a chair.”
Beginning this weekend, Blandford is starting a campaign to “Paint the Glade Chair Lift” and asking people and businesses to consider “adopting” one the 93 chairs on he Glade Lift. For $100 each owner will have their name or company name placed on the chair of their choice. Those wishing to adopt one of the chair lift towers can do so for $500. Blandford will handle the painting and donors will receive an adoption certificate for the chair or tower that they choose.
Chair numbers will be sold on a first come basis and the campaign will continue through out the remainder of the season.
