Travelers visiting Acadia National Park in Maine this spring should expect frozen and very wet conditions, say park officials.

According to an article on NationalParksTraveler.com, officials are still trying to cope with the massive amount of snowfall Acadia has received this winter.

The opening of Park Loop Road may be delayed to give park officials more time to clear the road. Officials also warn that some roads and facilities may still be covered by snow and ice. They recommend visitors bring snowshoes, skis and warm coats.
