Fodor’s recently came out with their list of the nation’s 10 best spring hikes, and among the Yosemites and the Zion National Parks of the list were a couple representatives from here in the Northeast.

New York’s Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks made the list largely because of its accessibility for families who want to introduce their kids to mountain hiking, as well as its sweeping view at the summit.

The other Northeast representative that made the list was New Hampshire’s Franconia Ridge Trail. It says the 8.9-mile loop trail can prove challenging, but the views of the region are unmatched.
