You’ve likely seen the popular “run like a girl, throw like a girl” Super Bowl ad. Now you can “climb like a girl.”
Cathedral Mountain Guides, a New Hampshire-based guide service, is holding a series of “ladies only” winter climbing workshops. Led by guides Alexa Siegel and Janet Wilkinson, the workshops teach techniques and skills such as efficient movement on varying types of ice, assessing conditions and proper trip preparation.
A “Ladies Only Intermediate Ice” workshop will be held February 28 & March 1. A “Ladies Only Mountaineering” workshop will be held March 7 & 8. Each workshop is limited to eight participants.
