Ski season has arrived.

The East Coast ski season officially gets under way tomorrow when Vermont’s Killington Resort opens its doors for skiing.

Single day tickets won’t be available on Friday. The day is reserved exclusively for Killington’s Season Pass, Express Card, Beast365 and Ikon Pass holders, with the first turns starting at 10 a.m. Killington will open to the general public on Saturday, October 20.

Killington officials say that no beginner terrain is currently available. Open terrain is for intermediate and above-level skiers and riders only. They say snowmaking will take place as temperatures permit.

Killington is expected be open on a daily basis moving forward, conditions permitting.
