Hiker Arthur Williams had been missing since Saturday.
A Connecticut hiker who had been missing since Saturday has been found dead.
According to police, searchers using a state police helicopter spotted the body of Arthur Williams, 64, off of a trail in woods in Plainville, Connecticut.
Williams was last seen on the Metacomet Trail in Plainville on Saturday. His family reported him missing at 11 p.m. on Saturday night.
Williams was reportedly an experienced hiker, but police said conditions were icy on the rocky ridgeline where he was hiking.
Police said it is still unclear how Williams died, but it doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
An autopsy is expected to take place this week.
