A new branch of the popular New England Ski Museum opened in North Conway, New Hampshire on Saturday.
The museum’s new Eastern Slope Branch is located at 2628 White Mountain Highway, next to Schouler Park, and will be open daily from 10 a.m-5 p.m.
Museum representatives say the new branch’s location is highly visible, is near other North Conway attractions such as the Mount Washington Observatory’s Weather Discovery Center and the Conway Scenic Railroad, and it is expected to draw large numbers of visitors.
The main New England Ski Museum will also remain open in its current location. The museum opened in 1977 and moved into its permanent building near the tramway of Cannon Mountain ski area, in Franconia Notch State Park, in 1982.
