New York’s Letchworth and Watkins Glen state parks may have captured the top two spots in a contest to name the nation’s best state park.
The two parks in western New York were finalists in the 2015 USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Award for Best State Park.
According to an article on TheDailyNewsOnline.com, Letchworth State Park was in the top spot when voting ended at noon Monday. Watkins Glen State Park was reportedly in second place.
USA Today is scheduled to release the official results tomorrow at noon.
