ADIRONDACK DAILY ENTERPRISE: A northern New York whitewater rafting company has been ordered to shut down operations while state officials investigate the business.

Thursday’s court order comes two weeks after the drowning of a 53-year-old Ohio woman during an Adirondack outing with a guide employed by the North Creek-based Hudson River Rafting Co. Police charged the worker with criminally negligent homicide for allegedly guiding the woman’s raft while intoxicated. (READ MORE)
