Any hikers planning to climb the Adirondack High Peaks this weekend should be prepared for cold and potentially snowy conditions.

Several peaks in the region could get a few inches of snow tonight and early tomorrow morning.

According to a recent forecast from Mountain-Forecast.com, Mount Marcy and other nearby peaks such as Haystack and Skylight could get two to three inches of snow overnight. Temperatures on Saturday are expected to peak in the 30s with a wind chill in the 20s.

Other summits in the High Peaks are also expected to see a few inches of snow, including Mount Colden, Algonquin Peak and Dix Mountain.
