BOSTON.COM: National Weather Service forecasters say there’s the possibility of a strong storm by the middle of next week. But it’s not clear whether it will bring rain or snow to Southern New England.

The forecasters say there’s “considerable uncertainty” on the track and timing of the storm six days out. The storm might bring strong winds along the coast and accumulating wet snow in the interior.
