Maine’s Sunday River ski resort won’t have its damaged Spruce Peak Triple chairlift – which collapsed over the summer – ready this season.

The chairlift was discovered lying in pieces by resort staff on July 10.

According to an article on FirstTracksOnline.com, resort officials say the chairlift won’t be ready until next winter. They say this year the terrain serviced by the Spruce Peak Triple chairlift will remain groomed and accessible to skiers and riders.
