Nothing can replace the experience of climbing the Adirondack’s 46 High Peaks. But, during this time of social distancing, a virtual challenge coming up next month might be the next best thing.

Yellow Jacket Racing, a New York-based race organization, will hold a virtual Adirondack 46 High Peaks challenge beginning June 1.

Participants will have 120 days to VIRTUALLY complete the ascent of all 46 High Peaks in the Adirondacks, climbing more than 140,000 feet during that time.
During each workout, participants will need to complete at least one mountain. Those feeling ambitious can go for multiple ascents in a single workout.
Participants use a race table on the event website to find how many feet they must ascend during the workout, and then they submit a GPS file using Strava, Garmin or other device for verification.
All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Everyone that completes the challenge will receive a special 46 Peaks Neck Gaiter.
