New Hampshire native Bode Miller, widely considered the greatest ski racer in American history, suffered a gruesome, potentially career-ending injury on Thursday.
According to an article on GrindTV.com, Miller – a two-time World Cup champion and six-time Olympic medalist – suffered the injury while competing on the Super G course at the FIS World Championships at Beaver Creek, Colorado. The 37-year old clipped a gate with his left shoulder and fell, gashing his right calf and severing his right hamstring tendon.
