Northeast wildlife is apparently returning to even our busiest urban centers.
Two coyotes were caught strolling the streets of Manhattan in January, according to an article on NYMag.com.
Police officers tranquilized one in late January in Stuy Town. Earlier in the month, police tranquilized a female coyote that was spotted roaming between 72nd and 79th streets. Both coyotes were released back into the wild.
