If you can pen a good essay, you could win your own chunk of the Maine woods.
A landowner in Whitefield, Maine, is holding an essay contest with the prize being 47 wooded acres along Maine’s Route 218. It’s $100 to enter the Maine Land Essay contest, and essays should be no more than 200 words.
