A Massachusetts woman says she was forced to climb a tree to escape several coyotes while walking her dog in a park on Tuesday.
According to an article on WHDH.com, the woman was walking in Breakheart Reservation in Saugus, Massachusetts, when she says several coyotes began closing in on her and her dog.
While in the tree, she called 911. At least one coyote could be heard howling in the background on the call. The woman’s dog remained on the ground.
The coyotes reportedly left the area and the woman came down from the tree before emergency responders arrived.
