The Reel Paddling Film Festival – featuring award-winning films about canoeing, kayaking and wild places – will be showing at locations throughout the Northeast during April.
The next stop for the festival is this Friday, April 8 in Lake Placid, New York, at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. Doors open at 6 p.m. and screenings begin at 7 p.m. Other upcoming dates include April 13 in Concord, New Hampshire; April 14 in Burlington, Vermont; April 27 in Orono, Maine; and April 28 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Tickets to the shows are $12 and are available on the Northern Forest Canoe Trail website.
Festival proceeds support the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, the organization that maintains and promotes the 740-mile water trail that starts in Old Forge and ends in Fort Kent, Maine.
