If you think the sport of obstacle racing is in hibernation this time of year, think again. Organizers with Shale Hill Adventure in Benson, Vermont, are planning a winter obstacle race for Saturday, January 26.
The Benson Polar Bear Obstacle Challenge will have competitors complete as many laps as they can between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. (8 hours) on a 5 kilometer course filled with roughly 40 military-style obstacles.
