MassLive.com: A second New York man has died while skiing at the Killington Ski Resort in less than a week.
Walter E. Gorgas, 80, of Wappingers Falls, New York, collapsed while skiing down the Header trail at about 2:30 p.m. Monday. He was brought to the Rutland Regional Medical Center by ambulance and was pronounced dead at 3:50 p.m., Vermont State Police said.
“There was no indication that Gorgas had collided with any skiers and/or objects,” Police officials said.
