Northeast Explorer is building the definitive voice for outdoor adventure across the Northeast—and we’re looking for contributors who live it.
If you spend your time on the trail, in the backcountry, on the water, or chasing snow, and you have something worth sharing, we want to hear from you.
All of our content focuses on the Northeast outdoors. We love stories about hiking, skiing, kayaking, camping, climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding and more in our region. Tell us the stories about your own memorable experiences and the places you love in the Northeast outdoors. (See below for examples of stories we’ve run.)
If you’re a photographer who captures awe-inspiring images of our region, we’d love to see your work, whether you have just one you’d like to share or enough to fill a photo essay.
Contributing to Northeast Explorer helps you:
- Gain exposure to a highly targeted outdoor audience
- Build your portfolio in a growing regional publication
- Have an opportunity for ongoing contributor relationships
If you have questions or would like to submit your story, story idea or photos, send an email to Northeast Explorer editor Dan Mathers at editors@northeastexplorer.com.
When we agree to publish a photo or essay, we may feature it on our website and/or social media platforms. Afterwards, they will be available in our archives. Contributors retain all other rights to their stories and photos.
