Write for Northeast Explorer

Every Adventure Has a Story Worth Telling.

The Northeast is full of unforgettable adventures—a solo paddle through the Adirondacks, a winter night in the White Mountains, a trail run that pushed you farther than you thought possible, or a weekend camping trip that reminded you why you love being outside.

Those are the stories we want to tell.

We’re looking for adventurers to share their stories from across the Northeast. If you’ve had an experience in the outdoors that others can learn from, laugh about, or be inspired by, we’d love to hear it.

You don’t need to be a professional writer. You just need to love being outside and have a story worth sharing.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in first-person stories about real adventures.

Whether you hike, backpack, paddle, climb, ski, trail run, mountain bike, or camp, we want stories that transport readers into the experience and inspire them to create adventures of their own.

Tell us about the summit you almost didn’t reach. The paddle that went sideways. The quiet morning at camp you’ll never forget. If readers can picture themselves there, you’re on the right track.
