Skiers and snowboarders can hit the slopes for free at Storrs Hill Ski Area in Lebanon, New Hampshire throughout the 2024-25 winter season.
Storrs Hill recently announced they were making skiing and snowboarding free for the season thanks to a gift from the Jack and Dorothy Byrne Foundation.
No reservation is needed for the free lift tickets. Skiers and riders can simply show up, visit the ticket window, and pick up their lift ticket.
Storrs Hill is open Fridays 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Beginners are welcome, and volunteers are often available to provide tips and support for those new to skiing or snowboarding.
This year’s free skiing and snowboarding at Storrs Hill might not be a one time thing. According to the release, the Byrne Foundation’s grant will jumpstart a community sponsorship campaign to continue free skiing in coming seasons.
