In this episode of Unboring Exploring, Krysti travels to Adirondack State Park for a 10-mile hike up Pharaoh Mountain.
The hike climbs 1,457 feet, but 1,100 of that comes in less than a mile on the final approach to the summit, making it a surprisingly strenuous hike. Along the way are pine-scented forests, beautiful summit views and, if you’re lucky, an encounter with Joey the Orange Salamander.
