The Pemigewasset Loop is a 31-mile hike circumnavigating the Pemigewasset Wilderness, the largest wilderness in New Hampshire.
This classic White Mountains adventure is as beautiful as it is rugged. And it IS rugged. The loop includes such 4,000-foot peaks as Bond, Bondcliff, Flume, Garfield, Liberty, Lincoln, Lafayette, and South Twin.
While most people break the loop up into an overnight backpacking trip, its possible to do it in one (very long) day. That’s what this trail runner attempted in July 2023.
