At least on Mount Washington.
Winter conditions recently returned to the Northeast’s highest peak as a thick ice glaze coated the summit.
The Mount Washington Observatory posted a photo of thick ice coating part of the observatory Monday. They said the ice was present above tree line Monday.
Cool temperatures are expected throughout much of New England this week.
