A popular mountain bike festival that has been held in Colorado since 2001 is expanding this year to add an East Coast festival in Vermont.
The Yeti Gathering from Yeti Cycles will take place in Burke, Vermont September 5 – 7.
According to organizers, attendees can expect verdant hills, fresh dirt, evening entertainment, and some of the finest beer in the country.
The first day of the event will include a 10-mile mountain bike ride through a maple forest with 1,150 of elevation gain.
On Day Two, riders can choose between a 15-mile intermediate ride with 1,500 feet of elevation gain or a 25-mile advanced ride with 2,130 feet of elevation gain through Kingdom Trails.
The festival ends on Day Three with a 7-mile ride with 1,100 feet of elevation gain.
