If you’re a whitewater kayaker, than you probably know who Steve Fisher is. One of the world’s great whitewater kayakers, he’s also one of the industry’s best filmmakers. Part travel flick, part adventure porn, his films often take place in exotic locales, like Uganda. And they’re epic.
That’s why it is so surprising – and awesome – to see that his latest project takes place in our own home waters of the Northeast. For his recent film for Red Bull, Fisher traveled to upstate New York to tackled the headwaters of the Hudson and the state’s steepest mile of whitewater.
