Grab your snowboard. It’s time to hit the terrain park.
Sure, it might still be August. But at a Massachusetts ski area, riders are already working on those snowboarding skills.
Ski Ward in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts opened up a mini summer terrain park on Monday, August 18. They’ve added a synthetic slope setup between features, allowing people to ski or ride.
The park is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Ski Ward has been aggressive in pursuing their skiing and riding in recent years. Last year, they were making snow in early October. And in 2023, they were the first ski area in North America to open a lift for skiing.
