Hikers in southeast Connecticut have a new place to hit the trail.
The Avalonia Land Conservancy recently officially opened the new Glemboski-Ous Preserve to the public.

The preserve is near the Connecticut towns of Bozrah and Montville. It includes 159 acres of open woodlands and currently has about 3.5-miles of hiking trails, including two loop trails.
The Glemboski-Ous Preserve features a relatively short flat lower section near the entrance and hikers will find open woodlands as they go deeper in. Highlights along the trails include vernal pool areas, stone cairns, and exposed ledge.
The Glemboski-Ous Preserve is located on South Road in Bozrah, one mile from Route 163. The parking lot is on South Road across from 102 South Road.
