Kingdom Trails—the renowned mountain bike trail system in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom—recently announced the addition of a new trail.
In a post on Facebook on Saturday, September 6, Kingdom Trails officials revealed that they’ve added a new climbing trail that has yet to be named.
The new trail takes riders from the Widow Maker/East Branch intersection up to Vast.

They said that Connector has also gotten a refresh—one out of two reroutes has been put in and offers an alternative to the punchier climbs.
All this work is thanks to the IDERide builders and a grant to build more sustainable trails.
They added that these upgrades are just the beginning, and there is more to come.
Kingdom Trails is a world-class trail network in East Burke, Vermont featuring more than 100 miles of pristine mountain bike trails for riders of all levels.
The Kingdom Trails system is made up of flowy handbuilt and excavated trails, plus skills parks and pumptracks, all surrounded by the beauty of quintessential Vermont scenery. And the riding doesn’t stop come winter, when they offer more than 30 miles of snowmobile-groomed singletrack for fat bikes.
